Innsmouth Design?

It all makes sense now…such terrible, soul-shattering sense.

Oh my gosh, Cheney does look like a deep one hybrid.

And Coulter is clearly a serpent person...

I get the feeling Grover Norquist is a shoggoth, too.

Damn, this just explains too much.

Considering that I've referred to Portland, Oregon as "Innsmouth West" for the last decade, the invasion is more complete than you'll ever know.

Doesn't Dembski also have a bit of a piscene look?

Hmmmmmm.

Long-jawed mudsucker -- though the original is a useful little fish. Maybe the problem is with the purse-lipped chimera of the species.

Wouldn't the pinnacle species be more inclined to be one of the social cephalopods? Like, say, Humboldt squid? Especially seeing as how our infrastructure is built almost exactly to scale to be suitable for Humboldts.

I seem to recall that they've already attempted at least one major land-based campaign. We may have one that battle, but....

"Long-Jawed mudsucker"
Hey, it was even *named* after Dembski!

I'm surprised I haven't seen more Lovecraft allusions around here...

Remember: Vote Cthulhu. Why settle for the lesser evil?

There is a great X-Box game called "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth" that i am playing right now, and one of the Marsh characters looks like he spawned Cheney.

if you get a chance, check out the screen shots on the followign page.

The most important scientific revolutions all include, as their only common feature, the dethronement of human arrogance from one pedestal after another of previous convictions about our centrality in the cosmos.

You know who really looks like he was born in Innsmouth? Gary Bauer. Eeeek!!!

I've been kinda-sorta looking forward to the Call of Cthulhu game, but I'm a bit too cheap right now to pick it up. Besides, if I get another game, that'll just take me away from my beloved "City of Heroes."

Just tell me the CoC game is scary.

If most of the planet is covered with water .. and humans cant live in water .... this octupus theory is making some real sense.

What is so intelligent about the design of a creature that cant inhabit the majority of the planet, let alone the universe?
